Who We Are
The Terrapin Rocket Team (TerpRockets) is a student organization at the University of Maryland, College Park. We are a multidisciplinary group that focuses on innovation in collegiate high power rocketry and the International Rocket Engineering Challenge.Since our founding in 2016, we’ve created projects that inspire team members. We emphasize simplicity, design for manufacturing, frequent hardware testing, ownership, and launching as often as possible. We engage students with experimental motor design, composite structures, an airbrake control system, telemetry, high performance, and propulsion projects.Who We Are
