The boosted dart launched successfully hitting an apogee of about 10,000 ft and nearly reaching Mach 1. However, recovery was unsuccessful due to a weakened recovery harness.

The launch was scrubbed due to transition section fitment issues. However, Dust Devil paved the path for future high performance, 2-stage rockets. The team refined construction techniques, gained experience in recovery electronics, learned simulation tools, tested transition methods, and gained launch experience.
